Milwaukee pH Controller Review
| REVIEW I really like this controler. I use it with my calcium reactor in saltwater aquarium and also to control pH in freshwater planted tank. The first reason why I chose to go with this model is because of it’s price. I could not find a better deal with other brands. The other thing I like about it is that it is very easy to set up and use. I have had them for over 4 years and they have been very accruate and trouble free. It has a large LED display w/ alarm which makes makes it a lot easier to glance at it and tell if you are within your set parameters for pH. The alarm is just the flashing red LED. There is no audibles. Two are better then one. This way, you can run one with your calcium reactor and the other one in your tank to monitor pH. Monitors are cheaper than controlers so you can get that instead of a 2nd controler to monitor the tank ph. Remember to clean the probe once in a while and calibrate the monitor once a month for good results. Which Im sure you should do with all monitors. I have heard people saying they don’t alway’s turn off the solenoid when the pH falls bellow the set point but I never had this problem. This should not happen and if it does, there might be something wrong with your controler. The only thing I hate about it is the bright yellow probe. Couldnt they have used any other color? |

Ive used this for years, and it just keeps on working!
I also use the Milwaukee controller for some of my tanks. It’s a great tool. Remember to clean the probe and to calibrate it once in a while.
That one is a great monitor; easy to use, cheap, reliable, easy to find
